The Peoples Bank offers a wide range of flexible investment CD options. By purchasing a CD, you can guarantee a fixed rate for a specific period of time. We have quoted rates of interest and you can choose various maturities up to 84 months. The minimum amount required to purchase a CD is $500.00. On any CD over $100,000.00, the rate is higher. Federal Law requires that a substantial penalty be placed on early withdrawals.

Personal Money Market Account

With an initial deposit of $2,500.00 The Peoples Bank offers you both a market rate of interest and accessibility to your funds. You may make no more than six pre-authorized withdrawals, automatic or telephone transfers, checks, drafts, and debit card or similar transactions from your account per monthly statement cycle. If you exceed these transfer limitations, your account will be subject to reclassification. There is a $14.00 service charge if your balance drops below $2,500.00. Interest is subject to change daily, dependent on market rates, and is paid monthly. The interest is disclosed on your monthly statement.

Individual Retirement Accounts (Traditional & Roth)

The Peoples Bank offers many different IRA's with an initial deposit of as little as $500.00. Please consult your tax advisor for your eligibility. You may schedule an appointment to meet with our IRA representative at your convenience.
